From The Earth Donates $10,000 to the Local Community in Port Hueneme

Just over two months after opening to the public, Port Hueneme adult-use cannabis dispensary From the Earth donated a total of $10,000 to four local nonprofit organizations. From The Earth is dedicated to supporting the local communities where we do business and this is an example of our ongoing efforts.

The organizations receiving $2,500 each from From The Earth are:


Mixteco Community Organizing Project

To aid, organize and empower the indigenous community in Ventura County.

The Mixteco/Indígena Community Organizing Project unites indigenous leaders & allies to strengthen the Mixtec & indigenous immigrant community of Ventura County.


Port Hueneme Police Explorers

Offer young adults a personal awareness of the criminal justice system.

Law Enforcement Exploring is a well-established and highly respected program that has served as a platform from which countless young adults have launched a successful career with local, county, and federal law enforcement agencies.


Hueneme Ocean Lifeguards


The mission of the Hueneme Ocean Lifeguard Association is to promote beach safety and public education. The Association works to reduce the incidence of death and injury in the aquatic environment.
