This refers to a sativa plant that is typically cultivated for its industrial uses such as oils and topical ointments, as well as fiber for clothing, paper, rope, building materials and more applications which don’t involve intoxication. As hemp is naturally a high-growing plant, it is usually grown outdoors to maximize its size and yield. The focus is not on producing buds but on building the length of stalk for fiber production. It has very low levels of THC but much higher CBD concentrations.
